Estonia's Industrial Production Declines In March

Estonia's seasonally adjusted industrial production declined 5.3% month-on-month in March, the Statistics Estonia said Monday. On an annual basis, the statistical office said that the working day adjusted production index fell 4.9%, while the unadjusted index plunged 10.7%.
Energy production was down 7.5% month-on-month on a seasonally adjusted basis. Compared to the previous year, the working day adjusted as well as the unadjusted indexes slipped 13.9% each.
In the manufacturing sector, output decreased 4.6% on a monthly basis. Annually, the production index dropped 10.1% on an unadjusted basis and 3.2% on working day adjusted basis.
