Estonian Retail Sales Post Y-o-Y Decline In May

Tuesday, Statistics Estonia reported that retails sales at constant prices declined 3% year-on-year in May. In April, retail sales had remained unchanged over the year-ago period.
Month-on-month, retail sales were up 4% in May, bettering the 1% increase witnessed in April.
Revenues from sales of retail trade enterprises totaled 5.7 billion kroons in May, out of which retail sales of goods accounted for 85%. On a year-on-year basis, revenues from sales increased 4% in current prices, while they were up 3% over the previous month.
